A Chartered Accountant, Raymond has been in public practice , since 1961 and is recognised by the ICAEW, a membership he has held for over fifty years.
As a sole Practitioner, Raymond developed a multinational telecommunications enterprise with particular emphasis on the regulatory and commercial aspects in the USA.
In 1989, Ray was appointed a Partner at Gerald Edelman Chartered Accountants, until his retirement from the firm in 2003.
Currently, he acts as a consultant to Adler Shine LLP Chartered Accountants, where his expertise on tax revolves around Capital Gains tax, Inheritance Tax and Stamp Duty Land Tax. Additionally, Ray advises clients on matters relating to HM Revenue & Customs in respect of Taxation enquiries and investigations.
Ray has sat as a director on public and private Company Boards and is a Trustee of three registered Charities.
