Born and bred in Singapore. Carol’s career began as a researcher for commercial and private investors, which in due course led her to travel extensively, advising and establishing businesses in Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong and the United Kingdom. Her first business adventure was to invest and start a fashion boutique in Singapore. Having qualified as a Gemmologist. Carol designed and manufactured jewellery and established a retail business in Singapore . Her Company Panache organised commercial and social events, for overseas organisations wanting to get a foothold in the Far East.
Following her move to London, Carol worked with Garrards, the then Crown Jewellers as Far East Manager. She was the first women in the history of Garrards, to hold a senior management position, creating a niche clientele and developing her personal contacts with Potentates and High Net Worth individuals. In 1994, Carol founded and funded ITC. Thereafter, Carol developed her own international consultancy and advisory business for private clients. These businesses took her to the Far East, Middle East, Europe, China and Hong Kong and Russia.
Her skills lie in working from grass roots to the development of million-pound businesses as an analyst, a visionary and fund raiser. Taking small visions to fruition. With 40 years’ experience in the international marketplaces, Carol was invited to join the Board of Centaurea as Director of Global Business Development and Trustee in 2023.
